The sixth edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, under the theme 'For the Time Being,' is scheduled to occur in Kochi, India, from December 12, 2025, to March 31, 2026. Curated by Nikhil Chopra alongside HH Art Spaces, the event will showcase a 'living ecosystem' of artistic expression. An announcement detailing the complete list of participating artists is expected in October, with a program that includes workshops, performances, and discussions. On July 15, the Japan Art Association disclosed the laureates of the 2025 Praemium Imperiale, each awarded JPY 15 million (USD 101,000): Marina Abramović (sculpture), Peter Doig (painting), Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker (theater and film), Eduardo Souto de Moura (architecture), and András Schiff (music). Additionally, Art Taipei will be held from October 24–27, 2025, featuring 127 exhibitors. Diana Y. Chou has been named the new director of Taiwan's Juming Museum, taking over from Po-Chun Liu.
