KOBU™ Foundry Creates Custom Typefaces for Facialteam

KOBU™ Foundry designed three custom typefaces for Facialteam, a company providing services to transgender women. Type designer Brígida Guerreiro created FT Headline™, FT Text™, and FT Icons™. FT Headline™ is a digital typeface for titles, with a grand and elegant design inspired by transgender women, featuring sans serif charismatic beauty and weight contrasts with humanist style. FT Text™, a hybrid of grotesque and humanist styles, is for subtitles and body text, offering basic and special ligatures. FT Icons™ is a font for Facialteam's iconography across print and digital. Creative and art direction by Brígida Guerreiro, iconography design by Daniel Gomes, photography by James McCowan, and type specimen by Brígida Guerreiro.
