KOBU Agency Rebrands Portuguese Tap Manufacturer BRUMA

architecture-design · 2026-04-27

In 2022, KOBU Agency rebranded BRUMA, a 30-year-old Portuguese tap designer and manufacturer. The overhaul included a new positioning, tone of voice, concept, storytelling, logo, and visual universe. Working with Taini Creative Studio, KOBU also redesigned BRUMA's physical presence, first showcased at the Cersaie Exhibition in Bologna, Italy. The stand featured an immersive brand experience with curvilinear lines, arcades, and mythological references inspired by Pre-Raphaelite paintings, positioning BRUMA's faucets as nymph-like divine entities displayed on elegant altars. The project involved creative direction by Sandra Lopes, interior design by Rita Peres, brand strategy by Isabel Evaristo, graphic design by Brígida Guerreiro and Vanda Pereira, and photography by Lorenzo Piano.
