Knowlton Prairie: A Victorian Village Renovation by L. McComber

In Knowlton, Quebec, architects L. McComber transformed a neglected 1970s bungalow into a 1600 ft² residence, completed in 2023. The project, curated by Susanna Moreira, was designed for two women from Montreal seeking a new chapter in a Victorian village. Lead architect Laurent McComber led the team, with Maryse Allard as lead team member. Landscape architecture was by Solidago Paysages, and the general contractor was Les Constructions R. Padner. Structural engineering was provided by MA-TH. Manufacturers included AM/PM, DP Marchand, Exosystème, Luminaire authentik, Stone Tile, and Ébénisterie Bresee.
