The Centro Culturale Candiani in Mestre will host the exhibition 'Attorno a Klimt. Giuditta, eroismo e seduzione' from December 13, 2016, until March 5, 2017. This event, curated by Gabriella Belli, who is the director of the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, is part of the series 'Corto Circuito. Dialogo tra i secoli.' According to Venice mayor Luigi Brugnaro, it highlights a new contemporary art initiative at the Candiani Center. Architect Pierluigi Pizzi is responsible for the installation design, which prominently features Gustav Klimt's 'Giuditta II (Salomè)' from 1909. The exhibition showcases over eighty pieces from various collections, examining the biblical character of Judith across different artistic movements and cinema, including the video 'Giuditta: metamorfosi sullo schermo.'
