Klimt Experience in 3D at Mudec Milan
A fully immersive multimedia experience dedicated to Gustav Klimt, founder of the Vienna Secession, will open in July at the MUDEC – Museo delle Culture in Milan. Produced by Crossmedia Group with scientific direction by Sergio Risaliti, the exhibition aims to anticipate the centenary of the artist's death, celebrated in Vienna in 2018 by the city's major museums. It features a 3D reconstruction of early 20th-century Vienna, including iconic sites, costumes, fashion, and innovative architecture such as the Secession Building with its Beethoven Frieze, providing the socio-cultural context in which Klimt lived and worked. In a single "experience-room," visitors will enjoy a 360-degree experience: 700 digital reproductions of Klimt's entire artistic corpus will flow across walls, ceiling, and floor as a continuous stream of fluid forms.
