Kiran Nadar Museum to Take Over Christie's London for South Asian Art Show

From 16 July to 21 August 2025, Christie's London headquarters will host a non-selling exhibition titled 'The Meeting Ground: Scenes from the KNMA Collection,' presented by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA). This exhibition showcases 180 pieces from 60 artists hailing from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, featuring notable figures like Nalini Malani and Maqbool Fida Hussain. Part of Christie's summer series, the event will be free for attendees. Meanwhile, KNMA is preparing to move to a new 100,000 sq. m facility near Delhi airport, designed by David Adjaye, with an opening scheduled for 2028. In February, Manuel Rabaté was appointed as the director, while collector Kiran Nadar aims to enhance cross-border connections and develop a digitized archive.
