Kiran Nadar Museum of Art to Open Massive New Delhi Campus in 2026
India's inaugural private modern and contemporary art museum, the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), plans to merge its New Delhi and Noida sites into a unified campus in Delhi by 2026. Established in 2010 by Kiran Nadar, the museum boasts a collection exceeding 10,000 artworks. The forthcoming facility, spanning 100,000 square meters and crafted by David Adjaye of Adjaye Associates, will serve as the largest cultural hub in India. Its design features a circular layout of pavilions and a facade adorned with triangles that hold significance for both Hindus and Muslims. The campus will offer exhibition areas and performance spaces, fostering an inclusive environment. Adjaye's vision draws inspiration from Delhi's rich history and the Kimbell Art Museum. The location is conveniently situated near the international airport.
