Kim Kardashian opens nude-hued SKIMS flagship on Regent Street

Kim Kardashian has opened the London flagship of her apparel brand SKIMS, designed by New York studio Rafael de Cárdenas. The two-level store on Regent Street features voluptuous interiors in cream and beige, with a towering female nude sculpture by artist Vanessa Beecroft greeting visitors at the entrance. The sculpture is illuminated by an oversized ceiling disc and framed by a rounded nude-coloured partition. Throughout the store, sinuous curves define open-plan spaces, and changing rooms boast floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a pink pouffe, and the SKIMS logo engraved into the wall. Pared-back cabinets double as seating for cross-legged mannequins. This is SKIMS' first European bricks-and-mortar store, and Kardashian expressed excitement about opening on Regent Street, calling London one of the most inspiring fashion cities. Rafael de Cárdenas also designed the SKIMS New York City flagship on Fifth Avenue in 2024, which follows a similar visual style. In 2021, designer Willo Perrin conceived the first SKIMS pop-up in Paris. The store's opening follows a 2024 lawsuit against Kardashian by the Donald Judd Foundation for claiming furniture in her SKKN office were "Donald Judd tables." Photography is by Mark Cocksedge.
