Kianí del Valle: Choreographing Puerto Rico's Voice on Global Stages
Kianí del Valle, a director based in Berlin and Los Angeles, has broadened her artistic endeavors to include international projects, such as directing Lorde's performance at Lollapalooza and choreographing Bad Bunny's halftime show at the Super Bowl. With two decades of experience, she established the KDV Performance Group and has directed tours for Puerto Rican musicians RaiNao and Young Miko, making her the only female show director from Puerto Rico in the last year. In September, her company will debut a new piece at the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.
