Kevin Brazzi and Anna Mattiuzzo's Dual Exhibition in Mantua

The exhibition 'La briglia di Dio' at Casa Mantegna in Mantua, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva, features 80 works by Kevin Brazzi and Anna Mattiuzzo from 2009 to 2023. The show, promoted by the Province of Mantua with support from BRYANO and collaboration with Francesca Baboni and Stefano Taddei, runs until November 26, 2023. Brazzi's works, including the series 'Parete della Follia e della Malinconia' created between ages 14 and 17, explore adolescence and emotional turmoil through unframed canvases. Mattiuzzo draws on early Christian literature, such as the Song of Songs, using sanguine to reinterpret ancient iconography. Oliva's catalog text describes their art as projecting the past into an eternal present.
