Kettlewell Scarecrow Festival: Yorkshire Village's Creative Display

This year's displays include a recreation of The Birds, a wild west theme, a medical drama at the community scarecrow hospital, gymnastic scarecrows, scarecrow sheep, a sack race outside the church, a Wimbledon tennis scene, netball players, a military-themed display, a snorkeling scarecrow by a red telephone box, a tribute to Michael Caine's The Italian Job, domino-playing scarecrows, an astronaut, a tribute to Sir David Attenborough, and a Phantom of the Opera display. The scarecrows appear throughout the village, in gardens, doorways, and on walls, reflecting the high standards of creativity. The festival is community-based and celebrates the village's creativity, with many visitors returning year after year.
