Kenzo releases 'Le Renard Bleu' film by Partel Oliva

Kenzo has released 'Le Renard Bleu', a film directed by Partel Oliva that blends art, fashion, and cinema. The project is part of the second edition of the Folio series, following the first issue 'Gidi Gidi Bu Ugwu Ze, Unity is Strenght' by Ruth Ossai and Akinola Davies Jr. The film features a musical dialogue between Japanese composer Midori Takada and singer-performer Lafawndah, set in Tokyo. It incorporates krump artist Qwenga and photographer CG. Watkins. The narrative revolves around the Blue Fox, a mythical trickster figure present in both Japanese and Senegalese folklore. Kenzo's collaboration with Partel Oliva dates back to 2012, when they served as creative directors for communication campaigns, later expanding with the duo Lola Raban-Oliva and JR Etienne. The film is available on kenzo.com since July 9, and will also be on Kenzo's YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Google Play, and other streaming platforms. A vinyl and cassette release is planned for August.
