Keith Haring in 3D at Crystal Bridges Highlights Sculptural Works
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art opens 'Keith Haring in 3D', an exhibition focusing on the artist's sculptural and multimedia works, drawn largely from the collection of Larry Warsh and curated by Glenn Adamson. The show features over 100 objects including steel sculptures, ceramic vessels, painted taxis, a refrigerator, and an altarpiece made after Haring's AIDS diagnosis. A rare surviving subway chalk drawing on black paper is included. The exhibition is the inaugural show in the museum's expansion and runs from June 6, 2026 to January 25, 2027 in Bentonville, Arkansas. A companion book of the same title is published concurrently. The show explores Haring's 'art everywhere' ethos, his Pop Shop, and collaborations, while also addressing cultural appropriation and queer experience.
