Kaviar Collaborative's Lakeside Holiday House Joins Wallpaper* Architects Directory 2026

Kaviar Collaborative, an Indian architecture firm established by Kasturi Wagh and Vineet Hingorani, has been chosen for the 2026 Wallpaper* Architects Directory, which annually features promising architecture studios. The founders, who first crossed paths while studying in Mumbai and later at Pratt Institute in New York (class of 2020), derived their studio's name from the initial letters of their names paired with 'architecture.' Their design philosophy emphasizes the phenomenology of space to enhance sensory experiences. Their notable project, 'House by the Lake,' is located near Kamshet, Maharashtra, and comprises a series of 'viewing galleries' within a monolithic structure. The house includes six en-suite bedrooms, a long outdoor pool, and areas for yoga, games, reading, dining, and prayer, utilizing local stone, exposed concrete, and reclaimed wood. The 25th edition of the Wallpaper* Architects Directory features 30 emerging studios from various countries, showcasing Kaviar Collaborative's dedication to context-driven design and fostering social connections through architecture.
