Kathie Lee Gifford Lists Connecticut Estate for $100 Million

market-auction · 2026-05-20

Kathie Lee Gifford and her late husband Frank Gifford purchased the Greenwich, Connecticut waterfront estate known as Cedar Cliff in 1994 for $7.8 million. The property, originally part of railroad magnate Henry Francis Shoemaker's compound, dates to the early 1900s. The Giffords added a recording studio and a three-story east wing with a primary suite, 20-seat movie theater, office, and wine cellar. Now listed for $100 million by Leslie McElwreath of Sotheby's International Realty, the estate sits on a nearly three-acre peninsula with 1,250 feet of shoreline, a pool, tennis court, and deep-water dock. If sold near asking, it would be among Connecticut's most expensive homes, second only to Copper Beach Farm's $139 million sale in 2023. Kathie Lee moved to Nashville after Frank's death in 2015 to pursue music.
