Karim Noureldin's First Spanish Solo Show at Elba Benítez

Swiss artist Karim Noureldin presents his first solo exhibition in Spain at Galería Elba Benítez in Madrid. Titled 'Brea', the show runs until July and features drawings on paper, hand-painted hanging lamps, floor textiles, and a site-specific intervention. Noureldin works across two- and three-dimensional surfaces, blending design, craftsmanship, and fine arts to dissolve boundaries between disciplines. His pieces employ geometric patterns and light color applications to create perceptual experiences at various scales. The exhibition explores how surfaces—painted, drawn, woven, or illuminated—interrelate, evoking a paradoxical spatiality that blurs interior and exterior. Noureldin argues that surface is not superficial, as materials like textile and paper, or wall and glass, converge within and across works.
