KAAP Residential District Opens in Amsterdam-Noord with Circular Pavilion
The KAAP residential development on the Amsterdam-Noord waterfront is officially completed. Located where Grasweg meets the IJ, this project revitalizes a former industrial harbor as part of the Cityplot Buiksloterham initiative, spearheaded by Studioninedots and DELVA Landscape Architects & Urbanism. Backed by AMVEST and COD, it includes 70 apartments across five buildings, crafted by Powerhouse Company, Orange Architects, and NEXT architects. Spanning 16,685 m², the site also features commercial units on the ground level and a circular hospitality pavilion, set to be part of the upcoming Oeverpark along the IJ. The design team, including Nanne de Ru and others, celebrated its completion in 2025, with stunning photography by Jeroen Musch and colleagues.
