K11 Group and ArtReview Launch Artist Residency in Wuhan with Open Call for 20 Emerging Artists

From 2023 to 2024, K11 Group and ArtReview will initiate an artist-in-residence program at K11 Art Village in Wuhan, China. A two-month international open call will allow for the selection of up to 20 emerging artists, with applications accepted until April 30, 2023. A combination of public voting on K11GO and a professional jury will finalize the chosen participants. The first cohort of five artists will begin in June 2023, with additional artists joining every quarter. Residents will benefit from studio and living accommodations, mentorship, and outreach initiatives, culminating in an exhibition in 2024. Established in 2011, K11 Art Village features seven studios and a 500-square-meter exhibition area. Founded by Adrian Cheng in 2008, K11 Group aims to complete 38 projects by 2026.
