K11 ECOAST: $1.4 Billion Shenzhen Cultural Complex Opening Late 2024

A $1.4 billion harborfront complex called K11 ECOAST will open in Prince Bay, Nanshan, Shenzhen in late 2024. Developed jointly by New World Development Company Limited and China Merchants Shekou Holdings, this 228,500 square meter project will function as K11's flagship mainland China location. The complex will feature an art mall, art space, office building, and promenade. Architects David Chipperfield, Sou Fujimoto, and OMA are designing the development. According to organizers, the institution aims to blend international art and culture with commercial development to create a distinctive cultural retail experience.
