K11 Art Foundation Appoints New Leadership Team in Hong Kong
The K11 Art Foundation, founded in 2010 by Hong Kong property tycoon Adrian Cheng, has announced several key staff appointments. May Xue Mei joins as Director of Education & Institutional Relations and Assistant General Manager for Northern China, bringing experience from her previous role as CEO of the Ullens Centre for Contemporary Art in Beijing. Venus Lau Sau Yee has been appointed Artistic Director and Assistant General Manager for Southern China, having served as Artistic Director at OCT Contemporary Art Terminal in Shenzhen and as a Consulting Curator at the Ullens Centre for Contemporary Art. Jeannie Wu is now Acting Cultural Manager, while Jilly Ding takes on the role of Head of Research & Acquisitions. These changes mark a new developmental phase for the foundation, aiming to strengthen its position as a curatorial platform fostering cultural exchange between Chinese contemporary artists and their global counterparts.
