June Art Fair Returns to Herzog & de Meuron Bunker with 19 Galleries and Community Focus

festival-fair · 2026-04-20

The June Art Fair is back for its fourth year, running from June 13 to 19, featuring 19 galleries and 5 unique projects from across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. Esperanza Rosales from VI, VII gallery in Oslo and Christian Andersen from his Copenhagen gallery started this fair to focus on curation rather than sales. Their partnership kicked off in Basel during the Liste Art Fair in 2013. This time, it’s held in a striking concrete bunker created by Herzog & de Meuron. Attendees can enjoy a garden café with local dishes made by artists, alongside works by Rebecca Allen, J Parker Valentine, and a rare Bas Jan Ader piece from 1969. The Brussels collective Etablissement d’en face will showcase art from various donors, while past challenges from 2020 saw the fair shift online. Future plans aim to enhance global participation.
