June Art Fair Moves Online with Hauser & Wirth, Featuring LeWitt, Namoda, and Schoorel

The June 2020 art fair, a boutique event that originated in Basel, is being held online by Hauser & Wirth from August 20 to 31, with support from ArtReview. Among the artists featured are Eva LeWitt, Cassi Namoda, and Maaike Schoorel. LeWitt is showcasing two installations: Untitled (Fish House) and Untitled (Flora), while expressing difficulties with digital representation. She has upcoming outdoor sculptures at the Clark Art Institute and exhibitions at Frieze London. Namoda, in collaboration with François Ghebaly, presents her debut oil paintings in 'You’ll be old too one day,' which explore shared human experiences. Schoorel, represented by Stigter van Doesburg, produced works during the lockdown, highlighting the significance of physical art. Her pieces are displayed at the Biennial of Painting until October 17 and at Mendes Wood until September 26.
