July 2023 Art Highlights: Mire Lee, Herzog & de Meuron, Blackpink

In July 2023, a variety of art and cultural events are scheduled, including Mire Lee's 'Black Sun' at the New Museum in New York, running until 17 September, which draws inspiration from Julia Kristeva. Daniel Guzmán's 'The man who should be dead' will be showcased at Kurimanzutto in Mexico City until 28 July. Amalia Pica's exhibition, '¡Que viva el papeleo!', is set for 26 July to 8 October at Fundación Jumex, also in Mexico City. The Royal Academy of Arts in London will host Herzog & de Meuron's exhibition from 14 July to 15 October. Other highlights include Christian Petzold's film 'Afire' (limited US release on 14 July), 'Home Sweet Home' at The National Museum of Art in Osaka (through 10 September), Les Rencontres d'Arles (3 July – 27 August), Nirmala Dutt's 'Statements' at Ilham Gallery in Kuala Lumpur (18 July – 24 December), 'Walking Through the Darkness' at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne (21 July – 10 September), and Blackpink performing at Stade de France on 15 July.
