artist · 2026-04-27

Julinko, stage name of Giulia Parin Zecchin (born 1989 in Castelfranco Veneto), is a singer-songwriter and poet whose music spans dream-doom, psych, ambient-drone, and dark folk. Since her debut in 2015, she has released four albums and an EP, with her 2019 LP Nèktar (Toten Schwan Records/Stoned to Death) drawing comparisons to Chelsea Wolfe, Emma Ruth Rundle, and Lingua Ignota. Her visceral vocals and dark guitar sound echo Wolfe, while influences include Swans and Father Murphy. She performs as a soloist or with her trio (Carlo Veneziano, Michele Dall'Arche). In 2021 she released the EP No Destroyer (Dio Drone, Ghost City Collective, Dischi Devastanti sulla Faccia). She was vocalist for One Dimensional Man (led by Pierpaolo Capovilla) and is now part of Bosco Sacro (founded 2022 with Francesco Vara, Luca Scotti, Paolo Monti), whose debut album is due in 2023 on Avantgarde Music. In 2020 her poetry collection Il Cuscino è il Confessore was published by Eretica Edizioni. She is currently touring with avant-garde composer Gasparotti. In an interview, she defines art as movement and music as a vessel and filter, citing Giorgione's La Tempesta as her favorite visual artwork. She considers her song No Destroyer her favorite. In 2022 she focused on live performances as a soloist, concluding the No Destroyer tour. In 2023 she will dedicate herself to Bosco Sacro live performances and finishing her second poetry collection.
