Juliette Green's Conceptual Drawings Explore Existential Questions Through Graphic Rebuses

Juliette Green, who hails from Semur-en-Auxois and was born in 1995, produces graphic rebuses that delve into existential themes using hand-drawn ink illustrations and color coding. She pursued her studies at the University of Franche-Comté and Beaux-Arts in Paris, where she caught the attention of Jean de Loisy. Curator Alexia Fabre invited her to participate in the Lyon Biennale, and she has garnered accolades such as the 8th Révélations Emerige Bursary and the Friends of the Beaux-Arts de Paris Prize in 2021. Her exhibition "Le goût des mots" took place at Crédac in 2022. In 2023, she was awarded a national print commission. Upcoming shows include "Du dessin au tissu" from December 5 to May 18, "All parts of us" from February 13 to May 10, and "Moi et les autres" from March 13 to September 27.
