Julien Prévieux Examines Authority and Control at Centre Pompidou

Julien Prévieux, winner of the 2014 Prix Marcel Duchamp, presents drawings, abstract sculptures, and films at the Centre Pompidou from September 29, 2015 to February 1, 2016. The exhibition, titled 'Formes d’autorité, protocoles de dérèglement', interrogates everyday life through the lenses of work, management, economy, control systems, cutting-edge technologies, and the cultural industry. Prévieux's work often critiques corporate and bureaucratic power structures, using protocols and systems as both subject and medium. The show includes a range of media, reflecting his multidisciplinary approach. The exhibition was reviewed in artpress issue n°426, October 2015, pages 60-64.
