Juliana Cerqueira Leite's 'Convergence' at Alma Zevi, Venice

Brazilian artist Juliana Cerqueira Leite (b. 1981) presents three sculptures—Calcify, Contraction 2, and Contraction 3—created during a 2019 residency in Naples, now forming the core of her exhibition 'Convergence' at Alma Zevi gallery in Venice. The works, made from plaster, clay, resin, and metal, reject rigid disciplinary boundaries. Leite's process reinterprets corporeality by connecting past, present, and future bodies.
