British artist Julian Beever (Cheltenham, 1959) has created a large-scale 3D pavement mural titled 'Dancing Butterflies in Rome' at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Castel Romano. The work spans over 20 square meters in Piazza dell'Elefante, depicting a tropical rainforest with vibrant acrylic colors. It is Beever's first 3D piece in Rome and the first in a shopping mall. Known as the 'Pavement Picasso,' Beever has specialized in anamorphic pavement illusions since the 1990s, with works across Europe, the United States, Australia, and South America. The mural will be on display for two months.
