Julia Stoschek Collection Films Featured in São Paulo Exhibition 'O Tempo Mata'

There's this exhibition called 'O Tempo Mata (Time Kills)' happening at Sesc Avenida Paulista until June 16. It features audiovisual pieces from 17 artists from around the world, all curated by Rodrigo Moura. Some notable names in the mix are Douglas Gordon, Arthur Jafa, Rachel Rose, and Hito Steyerl. The exhibition tackles themes like race, visual culture, gender identity, and how images are perceived. It's in partnership with the Julia Stoschek Collection from Germany, which has an impressive 850 works by 255 artists. There are also talks scheduled with Tiago Mesquita, Fernanda Brenner, Patricia Mourão, and Luiz Roque. Plus, the art can be seen on the sixth floor and the building’s facade. By the way, Moura just became the chief curator at El Museo del Barrio in New York.
