Juergen Teller: 7 ½ Years of Life and Work in New Book and Exhibition

Juergen Teller recently launched his new artist's book, 'Juergen Teller 7 ½' (Marsilio Editore, 2025), at Palazzo Diedo in Venice, working alongside his wife and design collaborator, Dovile Drizyte. This book is linked to his exhibition, 'Juergen Teller 7 ½,' taking place at Palazzo Giardino in Sabbioneta, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2008, running until November 23. The exhibit features 393 striking photos that highlight Teller's work in fashion and advertising, as well as personal moments like sharing morning coffee with his wife. It also includes pieces from the 'Guten Morgen Sonnenschein' series (2025) and Dana Wyse's pill packets from 'Jesus Had A Sister Productions,' found at Palais de Tokyo. The exhibition displays portraits of notable figures such as Boris Mikhailov, Emma Thompson, and Pope Francis, alongside campaigns for brands like Vivienne Westwood and Victoria Beckham. Additionally, it coincides with 'you are invited' at the Onassis Foundation in Athens (October 19 – December 28, 2025). Teller discussed his approach to portrait photography, emphasizing the need for sensitivity and teamwork, while recalling experiences with Nirvana in 1991 and Charlotte Rampling in 1996.
