JR Debuts First Sculptural Anamorphosis at Milan Central Station
From April 10 to May 1, 2024, French street artist JR (b. 1983) will unveil 'La Nascita' at Stazione di Milano Centrale. This marks his inaugural sculptural anamorphosis, featuring metal panels in Piazza Duca d'Aosta that illustrate the station's history dating back to 1906. In partnership with Avant Arte, a limited signed print will be available for €440 on April 30, 2024, at 3 PM CEST, showcasing the installation's trompe-l'œil at different times throughout the day. JR's notable past projects in Italy include 'Ora tocca a voi' in Milan, 'La Ferita' in Florence, and 'Punto di Fuga' in Rome. His work is represented by Perrotin, PACE Gallery, Galleria Continua, and Nara Roesler.
