Jovanotti's Visual Album 'Il Corpo Umano' Filmed at Galleria Borghese

Italian singer-songwriter Jovanotti (Lorenzo Cherubini) has released a visual album titled 'Il Corpo Umano,' with all 13 tracks accompanied by videos filmed at the Galleria Borghese in Rome. The videos, directed by Marco Braia and produced in collaboration with the museum and Ifexperience, feature Jovanotti wandering among masterpieces by Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Canova. Each song is paired with a specific artwork: 'Senza se e senza ma' and 'Celentano' revolve around 'Apollo and Daphne'; 'La mia gente' and 'La Grande emozione' focus on Bernini's 'David'; 'Le foglie di te' and 'Universo' highlight 'Paolina Borghese'; 'Grande da far paura' shows Jovanotti building a paper boat at the foot of the 'Lion of Alabaster'; 'Innamorati' and 'Liberi' feature him playing guitar with red balloons near 'The Rape of Proserpina'; '101' peeps through a keyhole; and 'Lo Scimpanzé,' 'L'aeroplano,' and 'Il corpo umano' use other museum spaces. The album was presented on January 31, 2025, following the earlier release of singles 'Montecristo' and 'Fuori onda.' Jovanotti emphasized that the museum represents the album's theme of the human body, calling it 'one of the most beautiful places in the world.' The filming was done with respect for the artworks, using only permitted lighting and without touching any pieces.
