Josephine Halvorson's Work Featured in SVA Group Show and Panel Discussion

Josephine Halvorson's 2008 painting 'Cake Pan' is included in the group exhibition 'Between Picture and Viewer: The Image in Contemporary Painting' at SVA's Visual Arts Gallery, located on the 15th floor of the Starrett Lehigh Building at 601 West 26th Street in New York. Curated by Tom Huhn and Isabel Taube, the show presents nineteen artists in a multi-genre and generational survey that offers an intelligent look at current painting practices. Halvorson will also participate in a panel discussion with fellow exhibitors James Hyde and Dana Schutz on December 9 at the SVA Theater at 333 West 23 Street, moderated by Katy Siegel.
