Joseph Constable named director of Kunsthall Stavanger

Effective 1 January, Joseph Constable has been named the new director of Kunsthall Stavanger in Norway, taking over from Hanne Mugaas, who is set to become the head of programme at the Office for Contemporary Art Norway. Constable previously held the position of head of exhibitions at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea. His experience also includes six years as a curator at the Serpentine Galleries in London, along with independent projects. In his statement, Constable highlighted that 2025 will celebrate the centenary of Kunsthall's historic spaces and emphasized his dedication to fostering artistic innovation and development within the institution.
