Jordy Kerwick's 'This Time Tomorrow' at König Galerie

König Galerie presents 'This Time Tomorrow,' a solo exhibition by Australian-born, France-based artist Jordy Kerwick, held in the Vault of St. Agnes. The show's title is taken from The Kinks' 1970 song, evoking uncertainty about an indistinct future. Kerwick's recent oil and acrylic paintings transform everyday motifs—vivid greens, floral bursts of magenta, vermilion, mauve, water, and passing impressions—into mythical fables. Familiar elements accumulate, shift, and recombine, opening onto imagined tableaux featuring animals, plants, masks, and hybrid figures.
