Jon Darc's "ambrosia" Video Premieres, Exploring Queer Ecstasy and Ruin in Berlin

Berlin-based artist Jon Darc has released "ambrosia," a new music video directed by Alejandro Spano, shot at MaHalla Berlin. The video follows their award-winning collaboration "Blessing," which won the Buggles Award at Stuttgarter Filmwinter and was shown at the Berlin Music Video Awards. "ambrosia" is part of Darc's upcoming EP MORAST and depicts a ritual of intoxication and collapse in Berlin's queer-industrial underworld. The video features cloned figures in gowns by Obectra, a masked divine figure with accessories by Carina Shoshtary, SCRY shoes, a dress by Elisabeth Bauer, jewellery by JoJo Jwlry, and a vase by Violaine Toth. A fallen angel sequence includes an oil-drenched garment by Guatamma. The soundscape blends sinister basslines, sacred bells, and choral harmonies. Darc, who also performs, draws from fetish culture, pop iconography, and queer nightlife. The video was produced by Vidhi Chain, Alejandro Spano, and Johannes Frick, with cinematography by Vladimir Visotsky, hair and makeup by James Lyman, and styling by Itar Pas and Jon Darc.
