Jol Thomson and Carlo Benvenuto Exhibitions at GAMeC Bergamo
At GAMeC Bergamo, two concurrent exhibitions run until November 13, 2016. Jol Thomson's audiovisual work 'G24/0vßß' (1981), winner of the 4th MERU Art*Science Award, explores dark matter and neutrinos through collaboration with scientists from the Gran Sasso National Laboratory in Abruzzo. In Spazio Zero, Carlo Benvenuto's solo show 'Scala 1:1', curated by Giacinto Di Pietrantonio, presents analog photographic works that mimic classical painting via multiple exposures on a single negative, alongside Bic pen drawings with a pop aesthetic.
