John Perceval Survey at Heide Museum of Modern Art
Heide Museum of Modern Art in Melbourne will host 'John Perceval: All That We Are', the first major survey of the artist since 1992. The exhibition features over one hundred works spanning three decades, tracing Perceval's creative development from the late 1930s. It includes his early unsettling portrayals of childhood memories and night images from World War II, later exuberant works inspired by Renaissance masters, and gestural land and seascapes, notably from the 'Williamstown' series depicting Melbourne's port settlement. The exhibition runs from 21 March to 12 July 2026.
