John Malkovich and Sandro Miller Reimagine David Lynch Characters

John Malkovich and photographer Sandro Miller have created a new series of short clips titled "Psychogenic Fugue," in which Malkovich portrays iconic characters from David Lynch's filmography. The project follows their 2014 collaboration "Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich. Homage to Photographic Masters," where Malkovich reenacted famous photographs. This time, the duo focuses on Lynch's universe, with Malkovich embodying characters such as FBI Agent Dale Cooper and the Log Lady from "Twin Peaks," Henry Spencer and the Lady in the Radiator from "Eraserhead," John Merrick from "The Elephant Man," the Mystery Man from "Lost Highway," Frank Booth from "Blue Velvet," and David Lynch himself. The series is part of a larger initiative that includes a website, Playing Lynch, created in collaboration with Squarespace, and an album. New clips are released weekly, and viewers can purchase early access to videos and album tracks. All proceeds benefit the David Lynch Foundation, which supports victims of post-traumatic stress through transcendental meditation.
