Joan Miró Exhibition Opens at Villa Colloredo Meis in Recanati

Recanati, a small town in the Marche region of Italy, has launched a long-term cultural partnership between the municipality and Sistema Museo. The first event is an exhibition of works by Joan Miró (1893–1983) at Villa Colloredo Meis. The show, titled 'Le lézard aux plumes d'or,' presents the surrealist master's pieces as evocations of childhood memory, emphasizing their raw simplicity. Miró's drawings and paintings, far removed from classicism, resonate with viewers by recalling the unfiltered way children represent reality. The exhibition is part of a broader calendar of artistic and cultural events aimed at attracting both locals and tourists.
