Joachim Coucke and Maurizio Vicerè at Like A Little Disaster in Polignano a Mare

Curated by Mattia Giussani, the non-profit space Like A Little Disaster in Polignano a Mare presents a two-person exhibition featuring Joachim Coucke and Maurizio Vicerè. The show explores the blurred boundary between reality and technologically mediated perception, particularly through web search engines. Vicerè's two-dimensional paintings incorporate Google search traces, while Coucke's composite sculptures assemble computer components, DVD players, and other technological relics, sometimes forming mask-like shapes that silently observe viewers. The exhibition occupies three rooms of the venue, with Coucke's works deliberately creating visual obstructions. Like A Little Disaster is noted as one of the few private entities in Puglia with a tangible focus on international contemporary art emergencies.
