Jingyi Yang's Living Textiles: Immersive Installations Bridging Nomadic Heritage and Biofabrication
Jingyi Yang, a New York-based artist originally from Baotou, Inner Mongolia, engages in interdisciplinary art through immersive textile installations that delve into themes of social distance, cultural memory, and sustainability. Drawing from her nomadic roots and the ovoo symbol, her work highlights the conflicts between agricultural and pastoral societies.
