Jimmy Wright's Works Featured in Met Exhibition and Solo Show at Springfield Art Museum

Simultaneously, a solo exhibition titled 'Jimmy Wright, Twenty Years of Paintings and Pastels' opens at the Springfield Art Museum in Springfield, Missouri, on September 18th. These dual presentations highlight Wright's contributions across different institutional contexts. The Metropolitan Museum exhibition focuses on self-portraiture from a specific fifty-year period, while the Springfield show surveys two decades of the artist's work in painting and pastel media.
