Jidar Street Art Festival Returns to Rabat for 11th Edition
The 11th edition of the Jidar – Rabat Street Art Festival has made its return to Morocco's capital, unveiling fresh murals in areas such as Hassan, L’Océan, and Agdal-Riad. Established in 2015 by EAC-L’Boulvart, this festival fosters a mural culture that links Moroccan creators with artists from around the world. This year’s theme, “Urban Dialogues,” emphasized the connections between artists and their neighborhoods. A variety of styles were displayed, including geometric abstraction and calligraphy. Directed by Moroccan artist BAKR, the Collective Wall program enabled twelve emerging talents to collaborate on a large-scale piece. Since its inception, over 100 artists have participated, supporting the international careers of 30 Moroccan artists. The upcoming 2026 edition will feature 15 new murals from artists across Russia, Italy, Spain, Morocco, and beyond, merging global and local visual art.
