Jia Curated 2026: Architecture in Scale Showcases Biophilic Design in Bali
The 2026 edition of Jia Curated, a design fair established in Bali in 2022 by Budiman Ong, Rudi Winata, and Yang Yang Hartono, is set to take place from August 13 to 17 at Sanur's Pengembak Beach, under the theme 'Nature Weave'. Spanning 15,000 square meters of coastline, the event will feature the 'Architecture in Scale' exhibition, curated by Charmaine Chan, the Design Editor at the South China Morning Post. This exhibition will present 25 models from Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan, including works by Kengo Kuma + Associates and IBUKU Studio. Notably, Chan will spotlight Elok House by Chang Architects, which was completed in 2007. Daven Wu, Singapore Editor at Wallpaper*, will cover the fair's efforts to promote Indonesian design through these models.
