Jewish in the City Festival Returns to Milan for Third Edition, Celebrating 150 Years of Jewish Community
From May 29 to 31, 2016, Milan will host the third edition of Jewish in the City, an international festival celebrating Jewish culture and fostering interfaith dialogue. This year’s event commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Jewish community in Milan. The festival will feature sixty guests from Italy and around the globe, engaging in discussions and activities at renowned locations throughout the city, such as the Central Synagogue on Via Guastalla and the Biblioteca Ambrosiana. Founded by Rav Roberto della Rocca alongside Cristiana Colli and Gadi Schonheit, the festival includes notable participants like Antonio Calabrò and Mario Botta. A highlight will be the inaugural kosher cooking course, promoting cultural exchange through culinary arts.
