exhibition · 2026-08-19

Opening from August 19 to 23 at the Patmion Cultural Center in Patmos, Greece, the group exhibition “Jewellery Was Never Innocent,” curated by Joy Herro, showcases nearly fifty designers, photographers, architects, and artists. Herro, who established The Great Design Disaster in Milan, has invited creators beyond the realm of jewelry to delve into concepts of value, identity, power, and memory. Following its debut in Patmos, the exhibition will move to her Milan gallery on September 22 and then to the Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum in Athens in November, aligning with Art Athina. Notable participants include Philippe Malouin, Andrea Mancuso, and David/Nicolas. The exhibition's title underscores jewelry's intricate historical significance and its transformative impact on wearers.
