Jeweler Presley Oldham Designs Fiancé Tyler Paige's Engagement Ring

Presley Oldham, a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist and fine jewelry designer, proposed to his fiancé Tyler Paige, a professor at Pratt and technical director at Linked By Air, during a hike at Solstice Canyon in Los Angeles last month. The couple, who met in 2021 in Los Angeles and quarantined together after contracting Covid, now share a home in Kinderhook, New York. Oldham crafted a unique engagement ring for Paige from 18-carat brushed yellow gold, featuring over 2.5 carats of stones including old-mine and recycled white diamonds and bicolor Montana sapphires. The ring's stones are set in a one-two-three-four configuration, referencing the couple's recurring experience of noticing the time at 12:34, which became a ritual to say 'I love you.' Oldham, who is expanding his business into engagement and wedding jewels, plans to create his own ring using stones from his grandmother's wedding ring. The couple has no formal wedding plans yet, but they are enjoying their engagement. Oldham admitted to putting the ring on the wrong hand initially, and neither noticed for two hours.
