Jesy Nelson offers £10,000 reward after car with daughters' medical equipment stolen

Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of her stolen black Land Rover. The vehicle was taken from her driveway in Brentwood, Essex around 03:00 BST on Sunday. Inside the car was hospital equipment essential for treating her twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson, who have been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Nelson made the appeal on Instagram, providing the registration plate JJ73SSY and urging anyone with information to contact her or Essex Police. The singer has been campaigning for SMA screenings at birth since her daughters' diagnosis, launching a petition that gathered over 100,000 signatures. In April, she expressed pride that SMA screenings would be rolled out earlier than planned in the UK, starting from October 2026. Nelson rose to fame in 2011 as a member of Little Mix after appearing on The X Factor. Essex Police declined to comment on the suspected theft.
